How well does your apartment score in terms of great places to walk to in just minutes? Our properties score high, allowing our residents to walk more and drive less!

In 2011, both Minneapolis and St. Paul made the Walk Score(tm) list of 50 most walk-able cities in the United States. Visit Walk Score(tm) and see for yourself!

  • Walking is an easy way to help keep the environment clean, with an added bonus of keeping your body healthy.
  • Walking instead of driving, when possible, can provide multiple benefits to all of us by reducing noise pollution, reducing nasty emissions, and also reducing the use of non-renewable resources such as fossil fuels.
  • Walking also means using your motor vehicle less, which translates to savings through the reduction of gas costs and wear and tear (lower maintenance costs).
  • While walking can greatly reduce our impact on the environment, it also provides health benefits.  Walking can help you lower LDL cholesterol (the ”bad” kind), raise HDL cholesterol (the “good” kind), lower blood pressure, reduce risk of or help to better manage type 2 diabetes, watch your weight, improve your mood, and stay strong and fit.
