Dripping, Running Water?

Let Us Know Now! Dripping faucets and running toilets waste a lot of water! We try to keep tabs on the water use at our properties, but if you have a dripping faucet or running toilet in your apartment, you’ll be the first to know—so please call us or send an e-mail, and we’ll take care of it.

Clean Clothes, Clean Environment

Washing machines and dryers use a lot of water and energy. Be sure to only wash a full load of clothes to make the most of the resources!

Smart Water Use

When brushing your teeth or shaving, don’t let water run. By shutting off the faucet and only turning it on to rinse, you can save more than 5 gallons of water a day!

Avoid flushing the toilet unnecessarily.  Dispose tissues, insects, and similar waste in the trash to save water from excessive toilet flushing and prevent clogs.

Take shorter showers!  By cutting your shower time down by 5 minutes each day, you can save over 4500 gallons of water each year.

Avoid using running water to thaw frozen meats or other frozen foods.  Instead, try and plan ahead and thaw out frozen foods overnight or by using the defrost setting on your microwave
