If your stove does not work try to light the pilot lights.  There are usually three pilots lights.  Two are located on the top for the stove-top burners.  The third one is for the oven and is located at the bottom in the back of the boiler area.  Newer gas stoves you may require you to press in the stove/oven knob while lighting the pilot lights.

If your stove causes your smoke detector to go off then it needs a thorough cleaning.  Clean all the internal and external surfaces of the stove including the oven, the broiler, and under the stove top.  Do not put candles or other objects that might melt on or near a stove.

Often the temperatures marked on the oven knob are not correct.  We recommend purchasing a temperature gauge for you oven to precisely know the temperature in your oven.

If your refrigerator is too warm or too cold:

  1. Completely clean out your freezer and refrigerator.
  2. Clean the seals along the doors so that they properly seal.
  3. Do not over fill the freezer or refrigerator as this can prevent the cool air to flow properly.
  4. Adjust the settings on the freezer or refrigerator.

If you continue to have problems with your refrigerator or stove send in a maintenance request and we will come and repair it.
